Having lived in some beautiful places in the Southwest — Southern California, New Mexico, and now Golden, Colorado, I look to nature and embrace the opportunity to infuse rich colors and textures into my designs. From working directly with clients to freelancing with ad agencies, publication houses, marketing directors and web development companies, my projects span many industries. Moving forward, I look to work with businesses who are innovators for
the future as well as pillars in their community for environmental awareness, sustainable practices and positive social change now —
and for future generations to come!
creating for a more sustainable world
As an eco-conscious designer, I proudly adopt The Designers Accord Mission Statement:
"The Designers Accord is a global coalition of designers, educators, and business leaders working together to create positive environmental and social impact."
With its ability to communicate & transcend powerful messages,
design in its many forms has become a quest to make
a difference.
To establish relationships with those who embrace that "green",
"sustainability"
and the "environment" are not merely buzz words in a trend, but truly resonate with
the
advancement of their public image as well as social responsibility with their brand.
"Change does not happen by a few “chosen” individuals, but more often comes from ordinary citizens working to make a difference."
recipient 2012 Sustainability Award, Golden CO
Very proud and honored to announce this Environmental Achievement the parameters being:
Utlizing my design skills and a bit of guerilla marketing to successfully bring on-site recycling to the community in which I live.
More details: determining the level of interest of the residents in the community, communicate the message via posters and a web page (Google Analytics was a great tool to monitor traffic), contacting the local Sustainability Board and going head to head with the HOA Board (no small task) to see that value this would bring to the residents and finally bringing on-site recycling to its fruition!!
are you a mover, shaker — an eco-innovator?
Are you leading the charge or settling for mediocrity? Do you view cynicism as a "resistance to change?" What truly inspires you? If you find yourself and your business wanting to lead rather than follow,
then let's start a conversation. I'd love to be the design partner on your next project!
